Summer Inspiration
It's summer - time for some vacation... with friends, family or your boy-, girlfriend!!
Seeing new places, meeting new people, getting to know new food and new traditions....
Thats what makes a good vacation... (at least thats my opinion)
The last week I spend in Mondsee, it's lake in Austria. There's a small village called Mondsee too.
It's a very unique place.. The first time I went there was in 1994, now it's 2012 and in my opinion nearly nothing changed... It's a place where time stands still, a place to relax, to get closer to yourself...

Happy Independence Day, Indonesia!!!
Today's the Indonesian Independence Day...
67 years ago Indonesia finally got independent.
And five years ago I celebrated the Independence Day with my school, my teachers, my classmates and my hostfamily in Karawang, Indonesia.
It was amazing to join their traditions during that day!
In school was no teaching and no homework (at least I didn't get some homework!), the students were playing some games with the teachers, even the principal joined these games. I actually didn't really understood these games. At that time I was just a few days in Indonesia and I couldn't yet speak Indonesian.
After school I went out with my hostfather and my hostbrother. They took me to some places in Karawang with more "games"... It was really funny watching these games..
Here are some pictures:

Some men trying to climb to the top of this "thing".
They are trying to get the flag and the presents on top.

It doesn't work if you do it alone!
Team Work needed!!
They really need to take a shower after that game :P
Getting closer!
Finally after nearly one and a half hour watching!!
Afterwards we went to see another game... I don't know what it was about, we didn't watched it that long because it was close to dinner time and we were quite hungry ;)
Once again Happy Independence Day to all the Indonesians all over the world!
I can't wait to visit Indonesia again!

Scyscraper "Ihmezentrum"
In Hannover aren't that much scyscraper and they aren't that high.
The most popular (not in a positive way) are the ones belonging to the "Ihmezentrum".
The "Ihmezentrum" was once in the early '90s a place I really loved, there were a lot of little stores, restaurants and it was nice hanging out there. During the late '90s the place changed a lot, stores closed and no more restaurants. Actually now it seems like the "Ihmezentrum" is a world on it's own. Some of the people are brave enough to go inside, others like me weren't there in like years...
Well, if you ever visit Hanover, there's no need to see the "Ihmezentrum" from the inside...
There are a lot of places in Hanover much more interesting and beautiful than that "scyscraper-mini-town"...
So back to the scyscraper, actually there is more than one scyscraper in the "Ihmezentrum". I don't know the exactly number, I think there are about four of them with 19 levels. The other builings belonging to the "Ihmezentrum" are about six floors high.

Metrostation Marienstraße, Hannover
It's definitely not the prettiest metrostation in Hannover...
But some of them actually look nearly the same ;)

New City, Old Friend
Last Week I went to Stuttgart to visit a friend of mine which I hadn't seen in more than a year.
We started studying Architecture at the same university, worked together and had a lot of fun not only with architetcure.. We are both kinda addicted to korean drama and the actors ;) and there was so much more...
It was really sad when she had to move to Stuttgart.
Finally we met again! We talked a lot about university stuff, like what are the differences between Hannover and Stuttgart etc..
I couldn't see that much from Stuttgart, actually it was too hot to walk around the city.
But I have some pictures that I would like to share.. ;)
