Hamburg

Last weekend I went to Hamburg, it’s in the north of Germany. A Journey about two and a half hours away from Hanover (If you use the “snail-train”).
There was a festival at the indonesian consulate. During the last month there was the Indonesian Independence Day (17th August). Normally they are celebrating it on the 17th with an “Upacara” (it’s the Flag Ceremony) and a lot of food. Well this year the 17th was during the fasting month Ramadan, so the celebration on the 17th wasn’t that big. After Ramadan and Idul Fitri they made this big festival for celebrating the 17th AND the end of Ramadan.

After the event at the consulate I walked around Hamburg… It’s a beautiful city, especially at night. I watched a wonderful firework and now I can tell you watching a firework with your beloved one makes it even brighter….
